2010s Decade in Photos

What a cool BlogHop idea from May As Well Event ! I've really enjoyed reading through everyone's blogs of this particular subject because it's so cool to see how much has changed in 10 years for everyone! 2010 I'd only been riding for about 3 years by this time. I was absolutely loving it, even though I pretty much only rode once a week in my lessons, or over the summer I would hitch rides out the barn as often as I could. I was the definition of a barn rat, climbing on anything they'd let me, or working all day for a 10 minute trail ride! The pony in the photo, Steel, taught me to have a sticky seat because he was a dirty stopper, and especially hated oxers. Despite the fact he was a bit of a brat, I loved him to death & appreciate all the lessons he taught me when I was young. 2011 2011 brought the coolest little pony into my life. He was a lesson horse that had carried many, many people through their C-3 Pony Club Ratings, first events, and just a...

30 Things Blog Hop

1. I am incredibly religious. In fact, I am the daughter of a preacher, and I've grown up in the same church for most of my life. My church is my second family - and I love them dearly. Some of them have known me for over 15 years! 2. School used to be really fun for me - I loved it through about 8th grade. Ever since then, school has been the bane of my existence, but I do it so I can hopefully get a good job to pay for mi expensive animals. 3. I'm in college for a computer science degree. I plan to be a nerdy programmer. 🤓 4. Despite not liking school anymore, I love  STEM stuff. Science, Tech, Engineering, Math. That is right up my alley. I've always loved numbers & patterns. 5. I've been riding horses since I was 9yo. But I've been obsessed with them for as long as I can remember. 6. The first horse I ever remember riding was when I was around 3yo, on a trail ride, I rode with my dad on a big liver chestnut horse named "Big Red" - ...

Three Words Blog Hop

Well, I am still basically doing nothing with my horses as of right now. Mostly because I am consistently working 5/6 days a week, and still finding time for school & sleep. Somehow. I barely have time to think, let alone ride. Hopefully that will change in the very  near future. Otherwise, if you don't hear from me for a few weeks, it will probably be because I died. #stressoverload Casually running away from my problems Anyways, because I am doing basically nothing with my lovely creatures, I have like 0 blog content, so I'm jumping on the Blog Hop train, and I'm going to do the two blog hops that are floating around right now. Both of them seem really fun, so I'm excited to do them! Today, I am going to do the three words blog hop, started by  Nadia . I was pretty fascinated by this topic. I use a lot of words to describe my ponies, but boiling it down to just three was really difficult. Charmer Maybe handsome should be one of my words. Intuiti...

Your Perfect Horse

I saw this particular blog hop from  the900facebookpony  who got it from hellomylivia . I found it to be a pretty interesting topic, as I noticed from both of them that their own horses had a pretty significant number of the qualities from their "perfect horse". As I thought about it, I realized that a lot of my "perfect horse" qualities mirror Charmer's too. It's kind of a chicken or the egg thing. Not sure if I wanted these particular qualities in the first place, and that is why Charmer has stuck around this long, or if Charmer made me really love and value his particular qualities. 1. Color and Size Right off the bat though, I can tell you one thing that I would hands down have in my dream horse. Chrome . Doesn't have to be anything massive, but like a sock, or a snip or blaze or something ! Fake chrome I pretend he has chrome by putting white boots on him but it is not quite the same. Now I have accepted Charmer's lack of white, and a...
